Group Name: Settlement Assistance and Family Support Services – Isolated Afghani Women Support

Description: We provide a full range of services to our clients and their families, and continually identify and develop new programs that address the evolving needs of our diverse, ethno-cultural community. The Mission of SAFSS (Settlement Assistance and Family Support Services) is “to assist, educate and empower newcomers, women, seniors, youth, children and families in their integration process to improve their health and quality of life, realize their fullest potential and become contributing members of the Canadian society”.

Isolated Afghani Women Support
This group is for Afghani women that meets twice weekly. Settling in an unfamiliar environment can be both exciting and challenging. If you have an opportunity to share your feelings and concerns with others who are in the same boat, you will be able to get some support and grow out of your feeling of isolation. Just give us a call or make an appointment with our staff to learn more about our programs while you are coping with challenges relating to issues of settlement, relationships, parenting, health/emotion, or career choices. Languages: Afghan Persian/Farsi.
