Group Name: Supporting our Youth – Trans_Fusion Crew
Description: SOY is a community development program that has been creating opportunities for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and transsexual youth and adults in Toronto to build an inclusive, welcoming community together since 1998. SOY creates healthy arts, cultural and recreational spaces for young people; supports youth in building skills and developing capacities; and increases youth access to supportive housing and adult mentoring. Originally established as a grassroots project, SOY became a program of the Sherbourne Health Centre in September 2004.
Are you transgender, transsexual, genderqueer, of trans experience, or questioning your gender? Come to share a yummy meal, access resources, to socialize and have fun together. There’s usually some great art project going on, too! No experience required! We meet regularly to hang out, plan events. Come with your questions, stories, experiences and great vibes and hang out with other trans and/or questioning youth.
