Group Name: Extend-a-Family – Parent Share – East Support Group

Description: Extend-A-Family is a Toronto-wide community organization that seeks to ensure that children and youth with developmental disabilities develop meaningful relationships and participate fully in the community. Extend-A-Family is a not-for-profit, charitable organization, founded in 1976, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of parents of children with disabilities, and self advocates and community members.

Parent Share is a support group for parents of children with developmental delays. We are pleased to announce that we are holding a get-together for parents of children (of any age) who have a developmental disability. This informal time is designed for parents to share, be together and connect with each other. The best way to find out things is through other parents, what works, what does not,
programs, camps. Come out and connect with other parents!
