Description: CUIAS is a non-profit community organization, providing settlement assistance to immigrants for over 30 years with the support of the federal government (Citizenship and Immigration Canada) and provincial government (Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration). Our Mandate:
- To promote personal and social development of youth by establishing relationships an da sense of belonging while learning about Canadian culture.
- To create a welcoming environment for newcomer youth (ages 13-24) to spend time together, share stories/ideas/issues/problems/concerns, learn to help each other out in productive and respectful ways, overcome isolation and loneliness and integrate into community life to become productive members of society.
- To provide information, support and resources on specific issues affecting newcomer youth.
