Description: The Second Mile Club’s mission is to provide resources and services which contribute to the enhancement of the social, intellectual and physical well being of a multicultural community of seniors and disabled adults in the City of Toronto.
Are you providing care for someone? It is essential that you look after yourself. One-on-One Support:
One on one face to face and telephone support is available, if you need to discuss your concerns, find information or to talk about your feelings. Information and education sessions are available on different topics including:
- Understanding Caregiver Role and Stress
- Cognitive and Emotional Changes of Aging
- Effective Communication
- Accessing Resources and Effective Advocacy
Learn more about caregiving resources, share coping strategies, feelings and experiences, and peer group support. Free of charge and available to all caregivers. Pre-registration is preferred.

When: Last Thursday of each month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
