Group Name: Canadian Centre for Men and Families – Men, Masculinity and Gender discussion group

Description: The first facility of its kind, we are an open, inclusive and safe space dedicated to the health and well-being of boys, men, fathers and their families. We provides workshops, counseling, discussion groups and a variety of special events. Programs include trauma and abuse support, suicide prevention, fathering, tutoring, mentorship and legal aid. We run services, research, advocacy, outreach and public education on all aspects of men’s issues.

Men, Masculinity and Gender discussion group
A men’s health, men’s issues and gender issues discussion group for anyone interested in learning about or discussing gender issues but especially for university students and young men. We will also be using these monthly gatherings as meetings for the Men’s Issues Awareness Society at Ryerson University.
Anyone interested in discussing issues related to men and masculinity or gender is welcome. Undergrad and grad students, alumni, staff, faculty and members of the University communities are especially encouraged to join. ***There is no charge to attend.
