Group Name: Sheena’s Place – Young Adult (Ages 17 – 30)

Description: At Sheena’s Place we offer hope and support to individuals, families and friends affected by eating disorders by providing a wide range of professionally facilitated support groups and services. We are committed to inspiring hope, reducing stigma, raising awareness and offering meaningful help and information at all stages of recovery.
Support groups are for those affected by eating disorders, including groups for individuals who are affected themselves as well as family members, partners or friends of loved ones who have eating disorders. There are no fees, groups run for 8 – 10 weeks at a time 4 times a year. Participants must register during one of our registration periods. Young Adult (Ages 17 – 30)
This group provides support for young adults who are struggling with their eating and/or body image issues. There is a particular focus on issues specific to this age group, such as living independently, choosing careers, coping with academic pressures, relationship concerns, etc. This is an ongoing group meaning that groups are available to register/join at any time during the entire year.

When: Tuesdays 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (Victoria) and Wednesdays 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. (Deb)
