Group Name: Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada (CCAC)

Description: The Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada (CCAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of patients and increasing awareness and educating the public about prevention and treatment of this deadly disease. The CCAC was founded in 1998 as a federally-chartered national non-profit association when a group of dedicated medical professionals joined colorectal cancer survivors to create a national organization.

Colorectal cancer support groups now exist in several communities across Canada. Meetings are held where patients, caregivers and families share experiences, offer help and provide information. If you would like to start a support group in your region, please contact the CCAC.
