Description: Gerstein Crisis Centre was established 25 years ago in Toronto to meet the recognized need for providing non-medical community based support reflecting the needs and wishes of people experiencing mental health crisis.

F.R.E.S.H. (Finding Recovery through Exercise, Skill and Hope) is a peer support model that focuses on helping individuals get physically active, learn new skills, interact socially and find ways to get involved in the community. F.R.E.S.H. services are offered to past and present clients of the Gerstein Centre, Houselink Community Homes and the Primary Support Unit (PSU) The F.R.E.S.H. project offers many activities including Yoga, Gym Groups, Ball Hockey, Walking groups, Nutritional Information, Boundless Adventure Trips and Social Outings.
