Description: Annie is co-founder/co-facilitator of Straight-Forward. Straight-Forward offers a facilitated, peer support group for straight spouses of gay & lesbians. The only requirement is that you were in or are in a relationship with a gay or lesbian partner and you are heterosexual. Mixed orientation couples means that one spouse is either gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. Supports exists for the gay/lesbian partner in their ‘coming out’ process. However the straight spouse is often left to deal with the aftermath with little to no formal support network.
