Group Name: Turning Point Youth Services – Violence Prevention

Description: Turning Point Youth Services is a a Toronto-based, accredited children’s mental health centre that provides a wide range of programs and services to youth aged 12 – 24 and their families. Our mission, reconnecting youth and families to their community, is central to our service philosophy that highlights the importance of the individual, family and community. Our approach is youth and family centered, competency based and responsive to the life difficulties faced by our clients. Our programs and services are delivered by qualified professional and trained staff using models of service delivery that are evidence based and drawn from best practice models in the mental health and social service field.

Violence Prevention is offered under the Clinical and Counselling Services at Turning Point. Emergency shelter and day programs are also available.
Group and individual counselling is available for youth struggling with issues of violence in their lives. Supports and counselling options are provided to both perpetrators of violence and youth who have been victimized or traumatized by violence.
