recovery network: Toronto
These values inform our daily practice. They also inform all moderating decisions on this website/blog.
We honor each other. We accept people as they are: unique, individuals with something to offer and something we can learn from. We remind everyone that there are no limits to anyone’s recovery. We encourage a sense of hope in everyone for their own ability to recover in ways that is meaningful to them. We validate people’s experience and the insights they draw from them. We treat others with dignity, compassion and respect and hold each other in unconditional high regard. We offer choices and options, not answers and solutions. We believe each of us is expert in ourselves, our own condition and experiences. We support each individual’s right to choose what is best for them and to choose who they turn to for support and guidance in making those choices.
The Living With Voices Workshop
We will share common, simple coping tools and strategies for people who hear voices. Share resources and enjoy a safe place to use creativity and express some of your own experience living with voices.
