Join the St Stephen`s Community House for their Annual Pancake Open House!

On Tuesday, February 9th, anytime between 9 & 1pm you will encounter:

One of the services they offer is Connections, an 18-week training program assisting jobseekers that have immigrated to Canada in securing employment.

The training consists:

  • 12 weeks of in-class training: MS Office 2010 (no previous computer experience necessary), Customer Service Excellence, Business English & Job Search Preparation
  • 6-week co-op placement with reputable organizations in the financial, hospitality, retail and travel industries
  • We can also assist students in finding employment after the co-op placement

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Immigrated to Canada
  • Currently receiving assistance from Ontario Works
  • Speak English as a Second Language at an intermediate level
  • Refugee Claimants are welcome but must have a work permit valid for at least one year

Next session begins Monday, February 1st  *** registration open until February 8th***
