In partnership with George Brown College, Stella’s Place will be offering a Peer Support Training Certificate Program!
Active engagement and participation in all sessions is expected. By completing the online application you will be confirming that you are available for the following dates/times for core training, additional certification in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), and a graduation event:
- Saturdays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm: Feb. 27; March 5, 12, 19; April 2, 9, 16
- Sunday, April 10th from 9:30 am – 5:00 pm
Participants are expected to complete up to 40 hours of additional learning outside of session hours.

If you decide to apply, note that the application process will be open until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21st. We will let all applicants know by February 24th whether or not they have been accepted into the program. We only have 20 spaces available. In the event that we receive more applications than we have spaces, we would like applicants to know that there will be future opportunities for peer support training through Stella’s Place.
