SHRC Office closure
Please note that the Self-Help Resource Centre and Family Councils' Program offices will be closed from Friday December 23rd 2011 to Tuesday January 3rd. To find a self-help group, please use the directory of self help groups found here: Find a self help group

An Evening with Suzie Vinnick
Join the Self-Help Resource Centre for a great evening of music featuring Suzie Vinnick!
Join us at the 519 Community Centre as we raise money for the Self-Help Resource Centre, with Canadian Folk/Blues singer Suzie Vinnick, Friday October 7th. Catering provided by Fabarnak Catering. Liquor and non alcoholic beverages will also be sold.
Tickets are $40 each (plus applicable service charges). Doors will open at 7pm.

Beth Hoen Peer Support Group Champion Award
This year the Self-Help Resource Centre is calling on you to tell us about the remarkable people you have come to know in your community. We are looking for passionate people who have seen a need and put their time and energy into making it happen, whether that is in the form of a peer support group or a community activity. Self-Help Resource Centre Annual General Meeting
The Self-Help Resource Centre Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday, September 22 from 6 to 8 pm. The AGM will be held at the Locke Toronto District Library Branch meeting room, located at 3083 Yonge Street (Yonge St. and Lawrence Avenue East), Toronto.
Attend our annual general meeting for free food, fun, and networking with other self-helpers and agencies. Following dinner there will be a guest speaker and business meeting.

We've moved! Please note that the new Self-Help Resource Centre is 40 St. Clair Ave East, suite 307, Toronto, Ontario M4T 1M9.
We are now located in the Toronto Public Library Deer Park Branch at Yonge street and St. Clair Avenue East.

This is a great opportunity to use your donation to pay for trainings you can access at your convenience next year. For as little as $100 this year, your organization could be member of the Self-Help Resource Centre's community of organizations and services and receive free training in the coming year.
