The Women’s Centre – Abuse Support Program

Group Name: The Women’s Centre – Abuse Support Program

Description: The Women’s Centre is dedicated to supporting women in crisis, distress or transition by providing programs and services to effect positive change. The Women’s Centre was established in 1989 by a group of women who identified the need for a safe place within the community where women who had experienced abuse could receive after-care, support and ongoing services. The Centre now offers an array of programs to meet the needs of women. In 1991 the Women’s Centre became a recognized and registered Charitable Organization and continues to support thousands of women who access our Centre for help.

The Abuse Support Program is a confidential group for women who have experienced any form of abuse. A safe environment to share your story and receive the tools and support needed to empower your life. Registration is required.
